Sympathy to Pollock, Mear families

Stanley Wells Pollock, 71, of Winona died Tuesday, April 15. Dr. Pollock taught sociology at Saint Mary’s from 1971 to 1998 and returned as a researcher from 2000 to 2006 in the assessment office. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Tau Center Rotunda on Saint Teresa campus, 511 Hilbert St. Memorials can be directed to Mayo Clinic Cancer Center for Head-Neck Cancer Research. Chris Hallock, sister of Sister Margaret Mear, retired Art & Design Department faculty member, died April 2 from cancer.
