Great Summer Reads list, winner announced

The SMU community’s most-recommended Great Summer Read is the much-anticipated “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” by J.K. Rowling, which will be released on July 21, 2007. The winner of the drawing for a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card is Carlos Manriquez.

In total, students, faculty, and staff recommended 77 different titles comprising 26 nonfiction, 50 fiction and one play. Many of the recommended books are now available on the main-floor display at the Fitzgerald Library.
