Volunteer Committee events planned

Saint Mary’s faculty and staff can now wear jeans every Friday through SMU’s Jeans-for-a-Cause fundraiser. For $10 a month or $3 per Friday, you can get your sticker(s) from the Student Services windows, dress comfortably on Fridays, and directly support students at our Nairobi campus.

In the past, these fundraisers — spearheaded by the Volunteer Committee — have helped with employee flood relief, the Catholic Worker House, and a Christian Brothers school in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

The first Let’s Do Lunch communitywide potluck is scheduled for October. Watch for more details!
