Parade volunteers needed

As part of Saint Mary’s visibility initiative, the Communication and Marketing Office is entering two floats for this year’s Steamboat Days parade, and two more volunteers are needed to help pass out SMU fold-up Frisbees. The Communication and Marketing Department has been rigorously testing them and can attest to their high fun factor and extreme durability.

The parade, which will be held Sunday, June 20 (Father’s Day), begins at 12:30 p.m., and SMU is No. 15.

Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt (please let Deb Nahrgang know your size), and cold beverages will be provided.

A brave soul is also needed to wear the mascot outfit (only sitting down, waving and staying cool is required)!
