Internal search for education librarian announced

An internal search for an educational librarian is being conducted on the Winona campus. This person will: be responsible for the Library’s bibliographic instruction program; prepare instructional modules and assess their impact on student learning; work in collaboration with faculty to prepare content-based instruction programs; design web-based tutorials and assess their effectiveness; act as lead education librarian, working with a team of librarians to present bibliographic instruction sessions; promote library instruction on campus; advance information literacy and research skills throughout the university curriculum; share reference duties with the other librarians, including some evening and weekend hours; and work as a liaison to assigned academic departments.

A master’s degree in library and information science from an ALA-accredited university is required.
