Business Office volunteers with Feed My Starving Children

The Winona Rotary Club hosted a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack Event on Saturday, Oct. 5, and the Business Office helped out this worthy cause. Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization which utilizes volunteers to put together specially formulated food packets to be sent around the world to feed starving children. The program is reputable and serves children who are starving, even in the United States.

Volunteers from the Business Office donated a two-hour block of time to pack about 4,000 meals. Each team was asked to provide funding to cover the costs of the meals they pack, or $800.

The business office raised the required $800 donation by selling valentine cards and homemade treats.
