Notebook for thoughts on Virginia Tech tragedy

In the wake of the tragedy at Virginia Tech earlier this week, the Office of Campus Ministry would like to offer an opportunity for members of the Saint Mary’s community to share their thoughts, prayers and condolences for everyone at Virginia Tech. A notebook has been placed in La Salle Chapel (located on the second floor of Saint Mary’s Hall) for general prayer intentions. A second notebook has been placed in the chapel specifically for intentions directed to the Virginia Tech campus. Please feel free to take a moment to stop by the chapel and write a prayer intention, note of condolence or reflection on Monday’s event in this notebook.

Next Friday, the notebook will be sent to the Newman Center in Blacksburg and then passed on to the campus’ Ecumenical/Interfaith Campus Ministry Group.
